Job Description

We are looking for a Project Engineer for our Suspension Systems (Junior Level)

business line.

Responsibilities include:

Operate directly and by supporting the colleagues for new product projects and/or modification of suspension components made by different kind of technologies such as:

  • Stamping (steel and Aluminum)

  • Welding (MIG and Spot welding)

  • Machining

  • Aluminum casting

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

    • 4-6 years experience working in the automotive industry.  This is a junior level position.

    • Required experience with NX Unigraphics and Catia 5

    • Knowledge of vehicle dynamics

    • Good knowledge of technical design principles

    • Required - Good knowledge in metal forming processes such as stamping, forging and welding of steels, casting, MIG welding, forging of aluminum

    • Required - Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (ASME)

    • Able to work within a team as well as independently

    • Able to form strong relationships with customers and suppliers

    • Must be available for domestic and international travel


  • Good knowledge of physical, chemical and mechanical characteristics of aluminum and steel materials

  • Knowledge of the Value Analysis / Value Engineering methodology

  • Knowledge in finite element analysis (FEA)

  • Knowledge of stamping simulation

  • Knowledge virtual stress simulation.
