Job Description


Responsible for  process quality assurance, maintenance of injection process document, and advance trouble shooting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots manufacturing problems and related tooling, equipment or process issues
  • Work alone or with others to identify, implement and track cost savings ideas.
  • Perform project cost analysis
  • Manage Schedule and training of technicians
  • Recommend, support and/or implement improvements, modifications, or additions that will improve work processes.
  • Follows safety and environmental procedures and standards in order to maintain a safe working environment and to minimize the impact to our environment
  • Documents and analyzes work processes to improve process flow and process control
  • Support the update and maintain PFMEA documents
  • Perform trials with new molds
  • All those activities generated as a result of changes, requirements and/or improvement in the process of the applicable area)

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or similar technical degree (5 years experience working as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer in the coated processes field setting can be substituted for the degree)
  • Minimum of 2 years of directly relevant working experience,1 year minimum in the area
  • Ability to work in teams;
  • interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills
  • computer skills including ability to use Microsoft Office
  • ability to work independently
  • detailed understanding of machine manuals
  • demonstrated ability to multitask.
  • Injection Molding knowledge/experience
  • PFMEA.
