Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Following all the activities with equipment supplier during the phase of development of stations (Send cad data of product, Design reviews approval, Follow the activities of supplier according with timing, etc.)
  • Writing of specification for the equipment for new projects
  • Installation and debug of the new equipment of assembly line.
  • Standardization of equipment for new assembly lines 
  • Develop routes and sustain traceability system.
  • Parameters definitions for stations and set up instructions
  • Selection of electrical control, pneumatic and programing
  • Analysis and solve problems at assembly lines during the ramp up for production
  • Support to Maintenance during critical problems in the equipment
  • Provide support to the Manufacturing Engineering activities
  • Provide support to Manufacturing Engineering in the implementation of the engineering changes
  • Provide follow-up to purchase requisitions
  • Provide support to Manufacturing Engineering on the construction of prototypes
  • Comply with the quality and environment standards procedures and instructions (those applicable)
  • All those activities generated as a result of changes, requirements and/or improvement in the process of the applicable area

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Completed College Degree in Electronic/Electric Engineering
  • Min 8 Years’ experience managing shop floor control systems
  • Min 4 years’ experience in Siemens Software Programing (Middle – High level) and Configuration for the items below:
  • PLC / HMI
  • Step 7
  • Tia Portal
  • Win CC Flexible
  • RS Logix 500
  • Factory Talk

                           Note: For PLC programing is required to know different programing language: Ladder, Grafcet, STL

  • Vision
  • CV-X-Series
  • IV Navigator
  • Scanners
  • Dataman (DMR 260, DMR 8050, DMR 360, etc.)
  • Experience in Programming language C# and LabVIEW
  • Load cells
  • LVDT
  • Sensors (laser, photoelectric, inductive, capacitive, etc.)
  • Laser marking
  • Boards PCI
  • Interpretation of Diagrams electrical and pneumatic
  • PC Programming languages
  • Visual Studio, Visual Basic .NET
  • Java
  • TSQL
  • Databases management

Additional requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year in the area
  • Availability to travel, work on weekends and shifts
  • Basic statistics
  • Quality and environmental systems
  • Handling of chemical substances and hazardous wastes
  • Emergency program

  • Knowledge of computer packages (MS OFFICE)
  • Fluent in English 75% (written and spoken)
